     After the success of Wrathtech's Gnat minifighter, Kyu San,
a manufacturer of high end racing speeders and swoops, introduced
the Starstreak.  Somewhat slow in catching on, the Starstreak is
a very radical craft, which makes a number of improvements on the
more standard lines.  In form, the craft has a much lower profile
than the Gnat, with the standard height of a Starstreak being
under .35 meters.  The ship has a pair of short, bullet shaped
wings, which mount the Repeating Blaster Cannons, with a total
wingspan of around 1.5 meters.
     The pilot of Starstreak is lies down in the exceedingly
cramped cockpit, feet forward.  There is no viewport.  Rather,
all information is transmitted to the pilot through the sensors
and his helmet.  In addition to the standard sensors, the
Starstreak is equipped with vidcams on every arc, and the pilot
can toggle between the views with a flick of his head.  For
proficient pilots, this system is as good, or even better than
the standard interface, but can quite disorienting to those not
used to it.
     The light Ion cannon of the Starstreak enables the ship to
engage much larger craft than itself, as it is fairly easy for
the pilot to direct the beams at specific systems, such as the
sensor array or other external features.  In addition to these
weapons, the Starstreak is equipped with docking clamps, and many
captains have been known to panic when one of these small craft
latches itself onto their hull, believing it to be an advanced
mine or torpedo of some sort.
