   This unique ship some Rebel pilots are calling the 'Echo' is or was 
designed by an unknown alien race.  Very little contact was made with them
and when contact did happen it was rather deadly.  Highly maneuverable and 
very sturdy yet it lacked shields, lasers, and good sensors.  The main
reason it was a threat were that the projectiles fired by the Blitz cannon
have a great chance of pennetrating shields. 
   However the only fighters of its kind now are in the posession of pirates
and mercenaries.  The entire alien fleet just vanished without a trace.  This
is which gives it the name, an echo of the alien threat.
