     The Markline R series are among the most popular luxury
liners in the galaxy.  The R-5000 is one of their smaller ships,
and is the primary ship of most smaller cruise lines.  Designed
with the comfort of it's passengers in mind, the R-5000 has a
number of amenities not found in most ships, such as a zero-g
dance chamber, extensive athletic and recreational facilities,
and gourmet galley facilities.  The cruise ships also have a
fighter compliment of three shuttles, to allow passengers to land
on worlds without landing areas large enough to accommodate the
ship itself.  The shuttles are launched if the cruise ship is
attacked, although the pilots are often found fairly far from the
shuttle bay, especially if the ship is traveling through the more
civilized areas of space.
