Some of the more extravagant luxuries (such as the ballroom, the pool, and second dining room) were removed, in order to allow for the larger cargo hold and fuel tanks, and the more powerful power plants. Still, the Baal-Akrav remains a luxury ship, with rare wood paneling, luxurious passenger quarters, and attractive and well designed mechanical features. Zara has done her best to give the ship teeth, without detracting from that appearance, and she has done a remarkable job at that. The quad-lasers are retractable, the torpedo tubes are concealed under the cockpit, and the Turbolaser's line blends smoothly into that of the hull. In order to transport the criminals, Zara tends to lock them securely in the lush and well appointed quarters, with food delivered once a day. Any damage they cause is charged to Riscah. For the more dangerous prisoners, and when she has more passengers than her quarters can accommodate, she will lock them all in the cargo hold, and toss out the dead ones before entering each system.
